A huge rise in the theft of metal, in particular lead, has led to a firm of solicitors calling on CJ Roofing to carry out emergency temporary weathering works to their flat roof in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Metal theft has been on the increase for a while and many councils are distributing literature to residents warning them of the situation and advising them to take precautionary measures.
